Simulation Software and Accounts

About the Simulators

TLE Ltd. offers browser-based simulation software through the TLE Suite of Simulation Software, including the Leak Detection Simulator and the eRTTM Hydraulic Pipeline Simulator Pro (together, the "Simulators"). They are provided to help you explore how leak detection and pipeline hydraulic methods behave. This section applies in addition to the rest of these Terms of Service and, for the Simulators, takes priority if there is a conflict.

Illustrative Models, Not Engineering Advice

The Simulators use simplified models and assumed values, for example for sensor performance. Their results are illustrative. They are not a prediction of how any real pipeline or system will behave, and must not be relied on for engineering design, safety, operational, regulatory or purchasing decisions. For project-specific work, please contact us about a separate service agreement.

Accounts

To run a Simulator you must create an account with a valid email address and a password. You must give accurate information, keep your password confidential, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold or transferred.

Free Runs and Access Keys

Each account includes a limited number of free simulation runs, shared across the Simulators, and your account shows how many you have left. To continue after that you need an access key issued by TLE Ltd., which adds runs or a period of unlimited use. An access key can be redeemed once, by one account, and cannot be transferred or resold. We may change the number of free runs and the keys we offer at any time, but we will not reduce the runs or period already granted to your account by a key you have redeemed. Any price, payment terms and refund rights for an access key will be given to you when you obtain it.

Acceptable Use

You may not: bypass, disable or tamper with the sign-in, run limit or access key checks; share your account or access keys with others or resell access; use automated tools to run the Simulators or to collect their content; copy, extract or reverse engineer the models, code or content except as the law allows; use the Simulators to build a competing product or service; or use them in any way that harms the service or other users.

Your Settings and Files

The settings and case files you create in the Simulators are kept on your own device and are not sent to us. We record your account email address, how many runs your account has made, with the date and which Simulator, and any access key you redeem. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Intellectual Property in the Simulators

TLE Ltd. owns the Simulators and their models, code, reports and content. While your account is in good standing we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Simulators for your own learning, evaluation and internal business purposes. You may keep, print and share results for those purposes, but you may not alter them, remove the name of TLE Ltd. from them, or present them as advice, certification or approval from TLE Ltd.

Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Simulators available but do not promise that they will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any Simulator, or the whole suite, at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms of Service. You can ask us to delete your account at any time, and we will do so.

Disclaimer and Liability

The Simulators are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, TLE Ltd. is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Simulators or their results, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms of Service limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
